Consistency is Key-

As I sit here in my room tonight, I'm reminded of the faithfulness of Jesus.

I did my little daily devo, my daily prayer and my bible reading and one thing is evident. He is speaking right to me. In church services, In prayer, In devotions. It's amazing really, all it takes from you (and me) Is one simple admission and question. "God, I can't make it through without you.. and I need you today. I need you to show me yourself, I need you to speak to me and I need you to touch me. It's the only way I will make it." Once you say this, he can't help but come running to you. His child. His precious one wants to meet with him. Wants to be changed by him. Wants to love him.

You see, this is an offer he can't refuse. (Matt. 7:7 - "Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking and it will be opened unto you. (NLT)" The key words here are KEEP ON asking. KEEP ON seeking. KEEP ON knocking. When you KEEP ON. Keeping on, is consistency.

Where you show consistency, that's where your heart lies. If you show consistency to your favorite tv show, your favorite band, and your favorite friends - of which you know are bad  for you- you will reap the sorrow that comes with those choices, because these are not the things your heart should long for and show consistency towards. When you show consistency to your Bible -contrary to popular belief, your Bible is not there to collect dust.- When you show consistency to church attendance -and not just sitting in the pew and clapping on beat (or off beat), a real, authentic, Holy Ghost, GOD experience.- When you show consistency to Godly friends. When you show consistency to true, BIBLICAL standards, and When you show consistency to tithing to the Kingdom of God, your heart truly lies with Jesus and His Kingdom. Then, he can use you.
Then, he can work through you.
Then, you can be changed.

Consistency is the key. - Don't forget it.
